A look back to the 2011 Isle of Man TT and one of my favourite John McGuinness pictures.

Taken during the Superbike TT at the bottom of Barregarrow, one of the most spectacular section of the course.

The bikes leave the ground on a ridge in the road (you can see in the picture that the back wheel is off the ground).  As they land the suspension fully compresses and the bike bottoms out in the dip before rebounding back.

This obviously all happens in a matter of seconds.  It is both frightening and thrilling to watch the riders fight to keep control of their machines.  Definitely one of my favourite sections of the course to photograph.
