North West 200 2010
I've returned home from this years North West 200 with mixed feelings on the event. Further restrictions were put in place by the organisers, which made my job as a photographer very difficult and has left me questioning whether I will go back again. Don't get me started on the mini bus driver who left a friend and me stranded at York Corner!!
Ok rant over and onto the event itself. The man of the day was undoubtedly Alistair "Wee Wizard" Seeley who won the 1st Supersport race and the feature Superbike race. The people of Northern Ireland have had to wait 13 years to see one of their own win a Superbike race at the North West 200, the last local winner being Philip McCallan back in 1997.

Below: At York Corner on his way to victory in the 1st Supersport race.

Other winners included John McGuinness in the 1st Superbike Race, Keith Amor in the Superstock Race, Ian Hutchinson in the 2nd Supersport race and Paul Robinson in the 125cc race.

Above: Manx star Conor Cummins was an early leader during the 1st Superbike race but was pegged back by eventual winner John McGuinness who you can just make out in the background.
Below: Keith Amor leads Ryan Farquhar at Primrose Hill during the Superstock race, Keith went on to win the race which was also his 1st International road race victory.

Above: Ian Hutchinson had a comfortable win in the the 2nd Supersport race.
Below: Cameron Donald shares a joke with a member of the TAS Suzuki crew.

Finally my favourite picture of the day. Alistair Seeley fixes his gaze towards the 1st corner prior to the start of the 2nd Supersport race.
